Early on in our astrological education we all learn about rulership and exaltation, detriment and fall. We learn that having planets in the first two categories is really good, and having planets in the second two is not good. And yet, how is it that some of the finest warriors in the world have a ‘weak’ Mars, such as Nelson Mandela and Winston Churchill each with their Mars in Libra?
